Plant: Plug plants of July-sown (or mail order) oriental greens such as komatsuna, mibuna, mizuna, pak choi F1 'Red’ and kalibroc F1 'Atlantis' and cut-and-come-again autumn salad plug plants.

Sunny porch, lean-to or unheated greenhouse (mini or large)

Sowin pots or cell trays: spring cabbages 'Pixie’ or F1 'Hispi’, red chicory (radicchio) 'Rossa de Treviso’, 'sugarloaf chicory', chinese cabbage and oriental greens (to plant in September).
