It's that time of year again, Halloween. So, we thought, what better way to celebrate this all-American tradition than to decorate your garden and make it as ghoulish as possible.

Helped by our friend Instagram, we've put together some inspirational images to help you decorate your garden this Halloween.

If you're looking for a subtle touch of Halloween, you can pot your plants in a cauldron and keep them there all winter

Perhaps you're looking for something more literal...

Or for a way to get that skeleton out for just one more year. Pop him next to your plants and pumpkins for a creepy hello

If you plant orange flowers and grow them up into a hedge you can give your garden a taste of Halloween all season long

Halloween needn't be a scary, horrifying time of year. Actually, you can decorate tastefully. Try a decorative wreath on your door in a selection of autumnal colours to start off with.

If you've got a beautiful porch, or other raised outdoor space, then Halloween is its time to shine. You can pack it full of pumpkins and gourds to make it look a welcome and homely space.

This can be as wide-ranging as you choose - and have space for

If what you've got in mind is more literal, pick up a skeleton or two to add to your garden

Or slide one into your plant displays to give someone a creepy surprise

Or you can get your house involved too
